UT 350-Duo is a compact CNC turning machine equipped with a sub spindle which also has a linear axis and with synchronous control for component transfer from main spindle to sub spindle is ideally suited for completing 1st and 2nd operation in the same machine.
The turret on the machine is a 12 station servo controlled and hydraulic clamping turret and tools can be mounted on both sides of the disc.
The distance between Main and Sub Spindle Jaw faces is 350 mm.
A pneumatically operated part catcher is provided on the machine for unloading the component from the sub spindle.
Wide range of work holding options like 3 jaw chuck, collet attachments of different makes are offered to suit customer requirements. When equipped with a bar feeder, the machine functions like a complete cell where a raw bar is loaded and the part comes out after 1st and 2nd operations are completed.
Z1 and Z2 Axis super impose function enables simultaneous machining on main spindle and sub spindle wherever possible.
On the fly transfer of components not only reduces cycle time but ensures close in line accuracy also.
Features like Axis and spindle load monitoring, proprietary machining cycles, Tool life management functions and Chip Conveyor enhances the productivity of the machine.
Interlocks for safe operation of machine to avoid collisions and optional Servo door with light curtain ensure safety of the machine and operator.
